Ingredients for lady finger (Bhindi Recipe)
Lady finger 500 gram
2 Medium size tomato
Green Chili 4 (cut in to center)
fresh Coriander leaves 1 cup
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Onion chopped 1 medium size
Red chili powder one spoon
Turmeric Powder One Teaspoon
salt to taste
Coriander powder one spoon
Oil 2 tablespoons
How to make lady finger recipe
Wash and finely chop the lady finger (bhindi).
Chop the onion finely and also finely chop the tomatoes.
Now heat the oil on the frying pan and after the oil is hot, add chopped lady’s finger and fry it for 2 minutes.
After frying the lady finger, take out the lady finger in a separate plate.
Now put oil in a pan and when the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry till they crackle. (It takes 10-20 seconds to roast mustard seed and cumin).
Now add chopped onion and cook till it turns brown (this will take 2 minutes).
Now add tomatoes, salt as per taste, turmeric powder, chopped green chillies, coriander powder, red chilli powder and cook for 3-4 minutes. (Cook until tomatoes are soft)
After some time the tomato becomes very soft, then add the fried ladyfinger and fresh green coriander and cook for two to three minutes while stirring with a spoon.
